Common questions
What glasses do I need?
Red‑cyan anaglyph 3D glasses — the red lens goes over the left eye. They are inexpensive and widely available online. If your child wears prescription glasses, those go on first, with the 3D glasses over the top.
The app says the glasses are the wrong way round
Some anaglyph glasses are made with the cyan lens on the left. Turn them around so the red lens is over the left eye and try again.
Does the app work without internet?
Yes. Every game, exercise and the whole setup work with no connection. The only part that needs internet is the cartoon channel, which streams video — though a film you have already watched all the way through is kept on the device and will play offline afterwards.
I paid but the app is still locked
First, open the app's Settings screen and tap Restore Purchases. This is the fix in the large majority of cases, as long as you are signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account you bought with.
If that does not work, email us with the User ID from the Settings screen and we will sort it out manually.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, not by us, so cancelling is done in your device settings:
- iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions
- Android: Google Play app → your profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions
Cancelling stops future payments. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies. Email us anyway — if your child has finished their training, or the app has not worked for you, we would rather help you get your money back than have you feel stuck with it.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting the app removes your child's profile and all results from your device. See the privacy policy for the full detail, including how to ask us to delete crash diagnostics.
EyeCalibrate cannot answer medical questions. We are not able to advise on your child's diagnosis, prescription or treatment. Please speak to your optometrist or ophthalmologist. If your child's vision changes suddenly, seek medical attention rather than emailing us.
